   This sling shot is nearly exactly like the one I had. It will sling a steel shot ball hard enough to go through a tin can. I hunted with mine in the woods.  When I was alone in the woods I always had it. I stopped dog attacks and shot game with it. If a person gets good enough at shooting one they could stop a gunman in defense. A group of people could stop a gunman if they had clear shots at their target. It seems that it could be used to defend certain places in an emergency. It could be used to help guard schools from shooters or other places. A sling shot can be lethal. If several people could get a shot at an attacker they could probably disable the attacker. Maybe it could be legalized to carry in school by trained shooters with sling shots. Just an idea.
