  The original painting is mixed media. Has glued on sparkles and a rectangle soft see through pad. The paper is torn.  The original title is written on the back of the painting. The title was originally named "Stiletto Hills"  I consider this work one of my best. The concept of the painting was a scene from a never made movie where the crime scene was where a person was killed by a shoe with stiletto heals. As outside of Hollywood, I nicknamed the imaginary area as Stiletto Hills. Sort of a metaphor. The ghost is the ghost of the victim in a banshee type form shrieking in the strong winds that howl around the lighthouse sometimes. Beautiful but kind of creepy too.

   Previously, these lands were state of Oklahoma.
The major importance of the Supreme Court decision will have far reaching effects into the future. Right now, the laws regulating Tribal Lands have changed. State prosecutions are now automatically turned over to federal authorities. Only federal authorities can prosecute on Tribal (Native) lands. It is interesting how one decision by the Supreme Court can change things for the better, or worse. That is to be seen.
    The Cherokee words for "Hello!" and Forever are written in Cherokee Language.

How Prosecution Fails On Tribal Lands

  How prosecution works (fails) on tribal lands under federal government. 

Court Ruling On Oklahoma Tribal Lands - Not A Good Idea- Read post-

  Turning over Tribal Native American lands over to federal prosecution in the cases of serious crimes, not a good idea. 
   Historically, many negative factors have come out of the federal, tribal, authority process on reservation lands. 
   When local and state authority is eliminated on tribal lands does that mean the police and state police, including highway patrols are going to be vacated, leaving no authorities except federal authorities to prosecute crimes?
     Many crimes on reservation lands are never prosecuted or investigated. The rape of women on those lands has been known to be ignored by authorities and prosecutors. Corruption in the tribal authorities, such as the circumstances surrounding the Wounded Knee reservation incident, have occurred. Remember when Russell Means and company stood off the FBI?

  The corruption of the reservation police led to the incident. The corruption and political maneuvering of the federal authorities made matters worse.

    The situation of federal authority over site with reservation police turns into ignoring concerns of citizens by reservation police and then in turn being ignored by the federal authorities. This turns into federal government bureaucracy that in turn worsens the overall situation. Watch the great movie "Wind River" to get a feel of how those things work. Here's a trailer: 

  
  The ruling by the liberal court is in my opinion absurd. Not a good idea. 

Confederate Flag-

    Flying the Confederate flag outside of public lands and government locations , including schools, should be left up to the businesses and individuals, as it is not against the law. 
    Most people consider the flag a racist symbol. But individuals still have rights to wear or fly the flag if they want to. There are many offensive things that people wear and display, as long as it is within the guidelines of decency. 
     In Southern culture, the Confederate flag isn't just a symbol of racism. It isn't just a symbol of slavery. People who say that the Confederate flag just stands for evil and nothing else are wrong.
    

Hong Kong- Where To Start On The Road To Freedom

   A better name for the Declaration of Independence may have been the Declaration of Freedom. To decree yourself a free people is a good start in becoming free. Understanding important points that are essential to the pursuit of freedom and liberty and declaring, in writing, your right to live by and uphold your beliefs in the rights of people to live free, might be a good start.
   Expression in ideas that are understood that can be shared in values with common goals as set forth to abide by with expectations of adherence by powers that hold people in perpetuity to system controls that are oppressive, dictated, by force upon unwilling subjects, who should by natural laws be willing to set those people free who want independence, to live in freedom, without oppression.
   To demand in writing, with all good intentions, including, the want of peace and tranquility, fair laws, equal rights, and government accountability, with all good intentions to be good neighbors, and steadfast in cooperation of matters of state, compliant with laws set forth to secure public and private safety. Justifying self determination to a common goal of social and enterprise welfare.
