In the investigation, Ray Gricar withheld evidence from the FBI. The investigation concerning Marjorie Diehl and Bill Rothstein after the death of Brian Wells in Erie Pennsylvania. Ray Gricar was the Centre County DA at the time.
As Ray Gricar met with Gina Haspel, Marjorie Diehl, Bill Rothstein, Brian wells, Brian Wells girlfriend and myself in a duplex in Erie Pennsylvania before the bank robbery that Brian Wells committed in Erie, he saw the collar that Brian Wells was wearing during the bank robbery. The collar that was placed, locked, around his neck that killed him. There was no bomb attached to the collar in the duplex where Gricar met with Gina Haspel and the others. It was just the metal collar before the bomb was fitted to it.
Gina Haspel also knew of the collar there at the duplex. Gina and Ray stood together right in front of the table that the collar was setting on. Ray and Gina along with Marjorie and Bill Rothstein talked about the collar. Bill and Brian explained how it worked. They both saw it and talked about it.
Refusing to investigate the death of Brian Wells as a murder didn't clear Ray Gricar or Gina Haspel of withholding evidence from the investigation conducted by the FBI and agent Clark.
The death of James Roden, Marjorie Diehl's live in boyfriend and the bank robbery involving Brian Wells was under investigation by Clark and the FBI. The collar Gricar and Haspel saw in the duplex would have been evidence. Was evidence.
Ray Gricar knew Brian Wells girlfriend and Gina Haspel knew Brian Wells. Brian Wells was personally and romantically associated with Gina Haspel. Brian had mentioned the intentions he had to ask Gina Haspel to marry him.
Brian delivered the pizzas to Gina Haspel and around three state policemen waiting for him at the Country Fair across the street from the bank that Brian robbed after he delivered the pizzas. The order for the pizzas came from Haspel and her friends to the restaurant where Brian worked. He took the order. Gina Haspel talked to him at the Country Fair store across the street from the bank just before he drove to the bank and went into the bank and robbed it.
Brian was not wearing a collar bomb when he delivered the pizzas. He did not have a collar bomb around his neck when he drove to the bank. I know he didn't because I was in the car with him. He was not driving his car. He was driving the car of the woman who worked at the same restaurant with him. It was a light colored or white sedan. I think it was a Buick.
When we got to the Country Fair store with the pizzas I thought I saw Brian's car parked to the right of the gas pump in front of the store. Now, I'm sure it was his car.
After everything happened, I came to the conclusion that Marjorie Diehl, Bill Rothstein, and possibly Brian Wells and others associated with them were abducting people, holding them hostage and getting people the hostages knew to rob banks for them. After the banks were robbed and the money was given to Bill or Marjorie, the hostages were turned loose. It seems that there may have been several State Policemen involved in the scam too.
One of the policemen was seen by one of the hostages and went to Marjories house to kill her. She was the wife of a man they had to rob a bank. As the State Policeman was going to kill the woman she escaped. The policeman chased her and fell down the stairs and broke his neck. Or maybe he stumbled and his gun went off and he shot himself. After that Bill Rothstein cut his body up and wrapped it up and hid it in the staircase. It was a theory of mine. So if there was a State Policeman missing in the area of Erie in 2003, around the time of the death of Brian Wells, that might be what happened to him. (Just a theory.)
The blood on the mattress that Bill Rothstein showed the investigators that he had at his house, that he said was James Roden's blood from where Marjorie shot him, probably wasn't. Or it wasn't actually the mattress that was in Marjories house at the time. But could have been a mattress that Rothstein laid Roden's body on after he committed suicide at Marjories house, in the back yard on top of the wood pile. Although I don't recall Roden's body being placed on a mattress in the back of Rothstein's van after he committed suicide.
So after Bill Rothstein and Marjorie Diehl got their money from the bank robbery from the husband of the hostage that was in the upstairs bedroom in the house Marjorie lived in, it seems that in order to give her a chance to live, they cut her ties and told her the policeman was coming to kill her. That she could surprise him and hit him with something and run out of the house. She probably did and he ran after her. But there was probably an accident. (Seriously.)
There was a vehicle parked with it's ass end out in the middle of the street about a half of a block from Marjorie's house, to the left as you came out the front door. The driver of the car was delivering pizza to the house. His first solo. The light was left on as the door was open. It was getting dark..... The hostage asked him for help.
If you haven't seen the "Evil Genius" documentary you should watch it. Most likely the greatest documentary ever on true crime. I believe I watched it on Netflix and soon after watching it I realized I was looking at Marjorie Diehl and Bill Rothstein and Brian Wells, who were once friends of mine. I was there in Erie when it all happened.
I was with Brian Wells when he went to the bank that day. I knew Marjorie Diehl and Bill Rothstein.
After Brian Wells died from the collar bomb, I didn't know what happened to him. I thought he took off with Gina Haspel to get married.
Marjorie and Bill told me it would be better if I left town because Brian wasn't coming back. I looked for work a couple days in the area but didn't find any. I left on the bus.
I never knew what happened until I saw the documentary. Here's a link:
