Methodist Church Got It Wrong On Same Sex Marriage

Methodist ban on same sex marriage is wrong. Why?
Because sex is a sin in marriage. All sex is sin. There is no such thing as holy matrimony. Sex is all sin to God.
Becoming parents was a matter of procedure in the days of Jacob and later on with respect to the covenant commandments by God.
This is the basis of church unions beginning in the Church began by Paul.
Sex between man and woman was forbidden, except for the two attempting to impregnate the woman.
At the same time partnership between men and women - men with men and women with women was tolerated. (Believe it or not.) Most of the more advanced nations at the time practiced open relationships between same sex couples and many were openly betrothed to one another, Alexander the Great for example.
The holy matrimony started in the Christian church in Rome. A church policy, not a God policy.
Celibacy was actually the God policy in covenant. Sex was only tolerated in conception of babies.
Babies were included in what was termed created equal. FYI.
